Good To Go

We're Good To Go

We're Good To Go

After what seems like a lifetime, we are pleased to announce that our holiday park is now open again. As part of this first phase of operations, and abiding by current government guidance, we are unable to open our toilet and facility blocks, including the use of our laundrette, pot washing and shower facilities. Campers and caravanners at our park will need to have their own self-contained toilet and wash facilities until at least Monday 17th May, when it is hoped that these regulations in the hospitality sector are to be relaxed.

Just to remind everyone, as a holiday park we are committed to ensuring that our guests are as safe as possible during stays at our site. We are certified to industry standards with regards to virus safety, a standard verified in partnership with The National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Be aware, that whilst you may or may not be too concerned about the virus, others may feel very differently. We have implemented a large number of safety measures to help protect you, but we cannot do this without your cooperation. We want you all to enjoy your stay at our holiday park, so please follow all on site guidance closely, and be respectful, considerate and courteous to each other at all times.

Through our initial opening phase children must be closely supervised at all times, particularly those who are too young to understand the importance of social distancing. If you know you have recently been exposed to the virus, or if you or any members of your party are exhibiting any symptoms of the virus, please do not travel to our park. We will happily move your booking to a later date, or issue you with a voucher to use at a later date if you are concerned. Please respect that we have a duty of care to all our guests, and cannot risk getting sick ourselves. You cannot self-isolate whilst on our park, so you really can’t risk getting ill whilst here.

Enough of the serious stuff, we can’t wait to see you back here and all enjoying the great outdoors again. It has been a long time coming, and the staff here have missed the company of our lovely guests, probably nearly as much as you have missed being here. Don't forget, you can now check the availability at our site using our online reservation facility. We are already full booked up for electric pitches for the three remaining bank holidays this year, and expect July and August to fill up quickly as parents treat the children to breaks away from home, so book as quick as you can to avoid disappointment. We hope to see you soon, safe travels and enjoy your stay.

Other holiday park and campsite news

Here in Nottinghamshire we love a good natter, with folk both local and from further afield. We are friendly faces who are here to help for the duration of your stay, so please ask if you have any questions or need advice. The team in our reception are always happy to provide information regarding local attractions and events, as well as the popular cycle and walking routes just outside of our park. We are also here to help should you need advice on public transport, local takeaways, or any issues during your stay. Read more of our news below and get social with us today.
