Christmas arrives early in Robin Hood country this December, as we welcome guests to our Winter Wonderland event on Saturday 9th December 2023. With limited spaces now available for bookings that weekend, now is the perfect time to book your weekend stay and dive into the festive spirit. Our seasonal pitch holders and guests are set to showcase their festive creations and wares, inviting everyone to join in the fun and share in the joy of the season. This is a family-friendly event where all are welcome, to relish in what is arguably the most wonderful time of the year.

A highlight for the little ones will be our Santa’s grotto, open from 12pm to 4pm. It’s a wonderful chance for them to meet Santa before the big day and receive a selection box. The grotto is free for those staying on the park, or just £5 per child for day visitors, with tickets available in advance and on the day. The excitement continues at 2pm with a children's fancy dress competition near the shop. With fantastic prizes across three different age categories, it’s the perfect opportunity for kids to show off their best festive outfits.

As evening approaches, join us at 4pm for the lighting of our memorial tree. We invite you to bring baubles to add to this heart-warming tradition, alongside those from previous years. As the stars begin to twinkle, we invite everyone to bask in the warmth of festive cheer during our best decorated pitch competition. Unleash your creativity and make your pitch shine, with £100 in future booking credits for first place, £50 for second, and £25 for third.

Next Year

Starting to prepare for your holidays next year? We still have great availability for most bank holiday weekends, including the Summer bank holiday in late August. Please be aware that these weekends do sell fast, especially into the new year, so you'll need to be quick to avoid disappointment. To close, a massive thank you to all guests who had been booked in for our Halloween event, for their understanding in cancellation after the recent flooding. Spaces for next year are now filling up quickly, with many of our disappointed guests this year re-booking for next, and remaining pitches being taken by those on a waiting list. We look forward to welcoming you to another event at our beautiful holiday park soon.
