Winter Wonderland
at Sherwood

Winter is coming here at Sherwood Forest, and with the end of the year fast approaching we have some fantastic events to look forward to over the coming weeks. This year Christmas starts early in Robin Hood country, as we hold our Winter Wonderland event on Saturday 2nd December 2022. With limited spaces now left for bookings that weekend, this will be your opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit, as seasonal pitch holders and fellow guests offer their creations, festive wares, and we all participate in some popular activities to spread the cheer.

Fun for all the family, everyone checked in to our park is welcome to pop along and share the joy, spread the merriment and to relish what is arguably the most wonderful time of the year. Our Santa’s grotto will be a must see for the kids, and their chance to meet the big man before the big day, open from 11am till 4pm. Tickets are £5 per child, available in advance and on the day, which will include a selection box ,with all profits going to a local welfare charity. From 4pm our memorial tree will be lit, so please bring any baubles that you wish to be added with you, to be added alongside baubles left with us after last year’s event.

We are currently seeking a local photographer to take pictures with Santa on the day, if this is this something you could help us with. To guests and visitors that weekend, we shall see you then, festivities kicking off from 11am.

Next Year

Starting to prepare for your holidays next year? We still have great availability for all bank holiday weekends, including the new King’s coronation bank holiday on Monday 8th May. Please be aware that those weekends do sell fast, especially into the new year, so you'll need to be quick to avoid disappointment. To close, a massive thank you to all those who attended our Halloween weekend last week. We are already sold out for spaces at next year’s event, with many of our previous guests re-booking for next year, and remaining pitches being taken by those on a waiting list. Congratulations to the winners of our competitions, and thank you for making it a great weekend. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did!
