Over the coming weeks, months and throughout summer, we will have a range of fantastic food vendors on site with us during peak evenings and at weekends, allowing families to eat conveniently and get the maximum enjoyment from their stay. Sometimes when arriving on site, the last thing guests want is to fire up the stove, don the apron, or head back off site to eat, especially after a long or tiring journey. Here at Sherwood, we have that covered, with freshly prepared food available on the park most Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as during the daytime at weekends. The choice does vary from weekend to weekend, but the most popular times and occasions are covered.

Friday Night

Friday evening is typically pizza night, provided by one of our local partners and made fresh for each and every customer. Reasonably priced and absolutely delicious, pizza on arrival really is a treat to remember, and one that many of our previous guests have experienced. With a choice of traditional options, as well as something more adventurous like a sweet chilli or barbecue base, you can also pre-order for a set time via a text message or social media, full details available at reception on check in.

Saturday Sorted

Saturday night is generally a Great British classic, with fish and chips provided by Dizzies Mobile Chippy. As well as serving the usual chip shop staples, guests can also go off-piste with kebabs, nuggets, burgers or mozzarella sticks, all available with the usual chippy sauces and condiments. During the daytime at weekends guests can also purchase fresh meat from local family butcher, Bowing Butchers, offering all the barbecue essentials ideal for those warmer evenings, generally on site for a few hours from 2pm on Saturday.

Other Food

Local baker and producer Scrummy Yummy is also a popular trader on site during weekends, offering freshly made afternoon teas, pies, delicious sandwiches, cakes, scones and sweet treats, all handmade locally within a few miles of our holiday park. Local, delicious and hand-picked by us, we are proud to promote these fantastic local businesses, and hope that these convenient choices add something towards your positive stay with us.
