Summer at Sherwood

Summer at Sherwood

A very happy holidays to all the friends and families who will be checking in with us over the coming weeks and through summer. I am sure we all have our fingers crossed for some fine weather, to enjoy a fantastic time away from home amongst nature. With the recent relaxation of restrictions in July, our toilet and facility blocks are now open as usual to both guests and visitors, with booking no longer required for our showering facilities.

It is no longer a legal requirement for guests or staff to wear face coverings, but we do still insist that guests wear a mask, where possible, when in our shop and toilet areas, to help keep your fellow guests and our staff safe. Safety is vital to us, and many of our team would feel more comfortable if those who can wear a mask continue to use them. We welcome guests from all around the country, with hundreds of people using our facilities each day, so we want to ensure that we best support and protect each other in the weeks and coming months ahead.

When using the toilets please be courteous to others, and do check the amount of people in that particular block when entering. A safe social distance does need to be observed and maintained, where possible. Please be aware that children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and that our blocks will be closed for cleaning several times a day. Fogging will be done on a staggered basis, and during these times the next closest block will be open and available, just a short walk away. We will continue to have hand sanitiser stations around the park, and request that all guests still use the track and trace app when checking in for their stay.

To close, we would like to thank all of our guests in the last few months for their patience and support in helping us to get back to some kind of normality. Heading into the summer holidays, we look forward to welcoming families and friends to a busy park, one where guests are considerate and kind to their fellow campers, and care about the enjoyment of everyone, especially after the trying times we have all had. If you are staying with us in the coming weeks we would love to see your photos and hear thoughts about your stay. Why not leave us a review and help us to further raise the profile of our beautiful park? We also encourage you to share your photos on social media, check in at our park and let people know about your stay.

Here in Nottinghamshire we love a good natter, with folk both local and from further afield. We are friendly faces who are here to help for the duration of your stay, so please ask if you have any questions or need advice. The team in our reception are always happy to provide information regarding local attractions and events, as well as the popular cycle and walking routes just outside of our park. We are also here to help should you need advice on public transport, local takeaways, or any issues during your stay. Read more of our news below and get social with us today.
